To promote exchanges between professionals involved with Animal Science in the country and abroad, favoring mutual relationships;

To hold Annual Meetings;

To promote extraordinary meetings, congresses, conferences or conventions, on a national or international level, about any topic of Animal Science and participate in meetings organized by other similarly-minded entities and institutions;

To make the work carried out by of its members known to all of the other members, through systematic, albeit sometimes summarized, publications;

To organize specialized commissions amongst its members to study technical issues of national interest;

To make every effort towards perfecting livestock raising in the country;

To participate in Sectoral Chambers related to Animal Science.
